Has anyone used the tint kits they sell at ebay?

I was looking at it since VA tinting costs $300 to $500. I think it is ridiculous. Anyways, has anyone tried using these tints or should i suck it up and pay the $300?

The only thing I recommend getting done is the rear window. Since you have to heat shrink the tint on the outside first to accomodate the curve in the glass (and it's a bitch on a 2 door when you try to apply the tint to the inside).
I bought my side rear/ and front windows off of them and they turned out great! make sure you trim the tint from the outside first(especially since all four windows roll down), If you think that you can just peel and play, that's wrong. I had to trim the outer lines of the tint along the top and sides, the bottom you can just tuck or trim when you are inside. it was well worth the money. it only cost me $130.00 for all my windows, including the rear window that I got professionally done!

I would by two sets, just in case you mess up the first attempt (everyone does) or buy a roll from GILA ...that is the way I would go personally. then you will have a lot if you need it. PM or email me chevybrian4@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Then I'll go to VA Beach. It's around $300 here in NOVA.

As far as the name issue, I'm actually new on Jbody. I always use "Tony Montana" as my username, but wouldn't allow me to use it on here. I guess now I know why.

I was looking up the ratings for that ebay seller, he doesn't seem that reliable anyways. So I'll just tint it some place where they don't charge ridiculously high.

I suggest you get that done from a good professional. Surely you want to ensure against cracking, peeling, bubbling and fading of the tints. Also a good quality film matters

300 bucks for tint is Crazy. I got my pontiac G6 sedan done for $130.00 bucks. I once attempted to tint the windows on a 96 Camaro. didnt work out so well.

Much better to get tint done professionally. Mine cost $160, and I live in NY, the secondmost expensive state, and worth every penny. No bubbles or discoloration, and if you go to a reputable guy, chances are they'll warranty the work for life.

Tint is a pain in the ass once you get to the back window, dont care what anyone says on here.
