Well I am new to the j body org ,however i have two j bodys a 83 j2000 hatch and a 2005 sunfire .
Is there away to put a different engine in the 83 im told that only a 1.8 ohc will fit and its dead .I want a ecotec in it but haha will it fit ,any ideas thanks.
You can put anything in it if you really wanted to..

What would be a good swap. 2.2ohv,2.2ecotec, 3400/3500. our should i just build the crap out of that 1.8, it did get great gas mileage .
