i read about the front end swap and noticed you didn't need a hood so can i just buy the 2002 headlights and mount them right in?
yes. 95-99 hoods are the same as 00-02
Don't forget that u need a bumper and the brakets for the fenders for this to work.
i can't just cut my old bumper to make them fit?
also i guess i need the wiring harness..?
You could just cut ur bumper, but it's gonna take a lot of work to make it look good. You can either rewire or get a new harness for the headlights. I beloved there is a sticky on everything u need to do for this swap.
Also you will need the bracket for both sides for the headlamps and corner lamps to mount in.
bleh i dunno if i should sell me z bumper and buy an 02 or if i should try and cut my bumper
also if anyone has done this swap and left the 99 style bumper which i have a z24 id love to see pics i think im jsut gonna go for it

I know this may sound ghetto, but I did the swap on my old cavalier, and We tried forever to do the wiring and to get it to work, with no luck, so I ended up just keeping my how beam bulb from the 95-99 headlights (95-99 have two, 00-02 have one) and I just got Hid's. I didnt have a highbeam, but I had no use for them with hid's anyways.
Well u suck at wiring. Easy as pie to swap harnesses

It is much easier to grab an 00+ harness. It plugs in to the rest of the harness right in front of the car.
Then you won't have a chopped up, headache of a harness.

i mean it was like the 2nd time....and i was just making sure i understood right because i had a hard time believing that seeing as the 99 have two separate lights and whatnot....im so sorry.
