Cavy rear quarter panels ?

Was wondering a good place to get a set of rear quarters that don't want a million bux....Thinking about putting a Cavy tail on the Sunfire( 2dr, btw ) and looking at how this will pan out too....i know the quarters and trim stuff has to change out but does the seal area have to be changed too ?....

You would be better off doing what gary frank did with his sunfire. The quarter panels will be pricey, and the labor for skinning them and welding back on should be a big enough deterent. You could just buy a cavi and swap your stuff over.

i got a brand new quarter on ebay for $100+ship about two years ago. if you want to put fire quarters on your cav, youll have to change more than just the outer skins though--the trunk drip/railing/etc is also different. look at a fire's and cav's trunks while open. youll see what i mean. also, search for posts by me in this forum for a pdf on quarter removal, etc for instructions on how to go about this sort of project

x3. Front end swaps are easy, rear end is a pita, your better off buying a cavalier. Bonus points if you get one with a newer engine than your sunfire.
