I just bought a new hid kit for my 03 Saturn ion and the bulb size is 9007 i bought 12000k kit and it will work in high beams but when you switch to low the driver side dim is on but the passenger side is not on i checked the bulb and its not blown or anything i checked all wiring and its how they told me to do it could anyone help me out please i would really appreciate it

switch the passenger side ballast with the driver side and see if you have the same problem. if the passenger side acts up after the switch then u have a bad ballast.. If the dirverside still acts up you might not have enough current on that side. i got a question though did you buy a hi/low kit? cuz it also seems like you just bought the bulb that just fit. if thats the case your boned cuz you can only use your high-beams

Check to see if any of the wires have gone and melted from the rad. Just a random case but it's what was wrong with mine, exact same problem. The second ground was melted, quick and easy solder job.

i did buy the high and low beams i checked all the wires there is nothing wrong but ill try switching that ballast

Did you get a relay harness or do you just have the stock wiring? That may have something to do with the issue as well.

this happend with me and i turned the plugs around, just unplug the light and turn it around and plug it in, it might not fit but just lift the tabs, it worked on mine and three of my friends cars, i dont know why, could just be manu. defect, and try turning them on and off, i noticed my pass. side didnt want to come on when it was cold, just flip them on and off a few times and it should come on, if not im not sure.

you can do one thing, plug everything up and then splice in the postive of the bulb that does work and run it to the other other side that doesnt and it should even out the voltage and we make both come on, thats what i did on my 05 cavy cuz i had the same problem.
