I have everything wired properly. But the tail lights do not work. I removed wire from the harness like directions said. Brake lights did work on toyos then they stopped. Third light doesn't come on either. Turn signal and hazards do work. Help me out here.
Fuse works. The hazards work. We blew a fuse or two because we forgot to tape off the end thay was in the multi-adaptor.
did you cut the white wire by the steering wheel? or maybe you got an open circuit somewhere.
I didn't cut the wire from wheel. Just pulled it out and taped off.
did you cut the third brake light wire by mistake?

^that wire shouldn't matter if its cut or not. he would just have yellow brake lights. it sounds like he doesn't have anything working at all?

The turn signals and hazards are working. But no brake lights.
I would say you chopped the third brake light wire somewhere, or they aren't wired properly.
This what I have done.
Pulled the white wire out instead of cutting it. Taped it off.
Black to black. Brown to brown. Yellow to blue. I only had black wire so it is spliced off from the white wire from the trunk and is ran to the white on both sides.
I used different connectors because thats all I have.
i did the same thing got pissed cause it wasnt working tapped the brake lights into the 3rd light works fine as for no brake lights something isnt right, not to jack the thread or anything but what size bulb does the running light have ? mine blew the other day
any luck man? ill take a look at mine tomorrow i did it differently... you may have to trace your brake light wire or at least test it may have broke or shorted out
tits! u sure your brake lights don't blink w/ the turn signal now? thats what i thought that white wire is for!
need to black out the 3rd brake light now!

Nope. Everything is 100% right. And I will definetly get that third blacked out! I want do how you did red and put a bowtie over the keyhold. My one problem is that it just seems to have a large gap on one side. Not sure if its the trunk, bezel, or how the lights are sitting.
I cut the wire on my 03 and everything works 100%. Not sure why it didn't work for you.
