This is going to pertain more to the 2k toyo tails obviously, but if youved modded/painted your toyota tail lights in anymore. Ive seen a few pics of the 2k's done in black, and Im debating doing it but not sure how they would look on a blue car. I have the outer clear lenses on my 2k's painted ambers, and I think black would make them like a mix of these and the 95-99 toyos. Soo go ahead and please post some pics of what youve done!

I thought about doing them body color but I dont think they would look right with a cf trunk, why I was leaning more towards black. Then having the amber outer lense makes them somewhat like the older style toyo tails.
^do half and half! do the outers body colored. and do the inners black! definately do amber!

Thanks for the pics everyone! I think I am gona do them black, should go well with a cf trunk. I just hate how the red fades but I may also just re clear them also..idk.

yeah mike, black will look good. make sure you put you're spoiler back on the cf trunk too please. and leave it body color!

Realy? I never thought about that, I wonder how it would look?? I dont think Ive seen anyone do it other than Skilz, which the car was black ayway soo wasnt much of a difference. Or I could get the spoiler wrapped in cf also since I know a guy
I have an 03 lss spoiler which may look even better in cf.
Mike, speaking of carbon fiber, the UPS man just brought me a roll of CF and some epoxy for your trunk today!!
I'm going to try and pick up a trunk lid this weekend and wrap it sometime next week.
i like the ones on the very first car, but as for the others, stock toyo tails look way better. the only one that looks good is the dark blue cav with the side all clear and some smoked. i wouldn't touch toyo's other than that one.
