APC Sunfire tails
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 5:55 PM
A parts distributor is dumping on E-Bay a quantity of APC Sunfire taillights, the only commercial alternative to stockers, at roughly one-third their original cost. The tails came in three forms black, chrome finish and carbon fiber. These are the carbon fiber finish version. I have had good luck by drilling out the lenses with a hole saw, replacing them with 4" truck LED lights and placing a chrome bullet in the center. The effect is to create a circle of LED's for brake and tails.

As with all APC products, DOT approval is not guaranteed.

There is no way of knowing how many sets of these lights remain in new form.

If you don't have pictures Jack, than what was the point of your initial post? Could it be because you're the one selling the taillights on eBay?!

Also, after checking out eBay, I only see one pair of the APC Retro 3D taillights listed. The other "Euro" ones that are listed are for Cavaliers and Sunfire Sedans. They are not the same as the APC ones which are for Coupes.

Here is a link and a picture for you Marc.

"Carbon fiber" taillights

I call on this thread!
