Painting headlights is a BAD idea, I painted the inside trim (leaving most of the reflective silver )on the headlights of my brothers 94 Z And the output is horrible. His 30$ fogs are Way brighter.

yea we did lights on my buddys truck lences were smoked as a option. very light i might add and sooo horrible at night. we ended up doing the factory svt lights sooo much better. if u want tinted lights by day and visibility at night go the way i did i got the black out covers just click n go

I put one coat of niteshade on my headlights and haven't effected the light output at all.

They aren't blacked out, but they are darker then stock.

Just a thought...
but if you tint your headlights... then do an HID conversion... would they kind of cancel each other out and get stock preformance but wicked sexy look?
Anyone try this?
