Removing GT door skins

Yes I searched with not much luck. I am putting GT sides on my Se, i'm not worried about installing the skirts. I just wanted to know how to get the door skins off the donor car. I haven't sized up how to do it cause the donor car as far away from me right now. So when I go get them, what tools will I have to take. I'm guessing screws are along the inside bottom lip of the doors?? Anyway if I could get some help that would be great.

I believe there are screws along the bottom of the doors and than I believe the only other thing that holds them on are about 15-16 plugs per door. So, I would guess just remove the screws and pull like hell. I'm not 100% though if anyone else cares to chime in with any other tips or info.

timka03 cav, cavaliers don't have the door skins like the sunfire gt's. Unless your talking about 94 and older cav's. The door skins I am talking about are on the outside of the car.
Thanks for your help J TO ENVY. Thats what I was thinking, remove the screws and pull, but not to hard .

You're welcome!

Here are a couple pictures of Wild Weasel's Sunfire GT with the door skins removed. It shows in detail where all the holes are at. I hope this gives you an even better idea of how to get them off .

Thanks. Gee I never thought of goin to his site. Been watching his process on his cars for years. Car is goin in storage tomorrow so i am not goin to get time to get the bumpers on. Paint shop is too busy. Do you know if I gotta trim the crush guard on my Se for the GT bumper?

You're welcome! Yeah, I always remember those pictures of the side skirts and door skins removed from his site. Why, I don't know, but I do . Glad they came in handy for you.

As far as the trimming the crush guard, I have no idea. Unfortunately I am not nearly as familiar with the '95-'99s as I am with the '00-'02s. It seems to me that the openings in the '95-'99 SE and GT front bumpers are nearly the same if not identical so I would assume you wouldn't have to, but like I said, I am not 100%.
