Little new to the lighting, I've been doing research though. I own a 2003 Sunfire, and well.. I'm less than impressed with the brightness of my headlights. I've tried different bulbs, and even aiming them up and down, but nothing works, and I'm tired of cars behind me making a shadow where my lights shine.
I was considering a HID conversion kit since nobody makes projectors for the car. But I was also throwing around the idea of retrofitting some HID projectors in place of the fog lights, which I'm a little more for because it won't cause the glare, and I've heard that HID's are best in projectors.
So my real question is.. how hard would it be to fit projectors where my fogs are? And where could I order some nice projectors?
Thanks in advance!
From what I understand fitting projectors in the Fog housing isn't that hard. Talk to johnbenham about HID's and projectors. He just finished making me a set of projector headlights for my 03 sunfire. I haven't installed them yet as there is a small clearance issue that I have to solve.
Search the boards for projector foglights. There, all your answers lie

i do recomend going the projector route for HID's, but as Allen pointed out, even the most compact projectors have clearance issues in the headlights of the 03+ sunfires.
Doing projector fog lights is an option. several projector fogs have no cut off shield, which will still be offensive to oncoming traffic (not as bad as HID's in reflector housings though). It is a relatively cheap way to go, and give you a very big upgrade in light output, but it is not the ONLY option.
