I currently have a set of aftermarket fogs on my cavalier. The set-up uses H3 bulbs. I wanted to change the bulbs to Nokya H3 Hyper Yellow bulbs. I am thinking this will give me the "yellow JDM" look that I am going for. I wanted to know if anyone uses them and if they have had any problems with them. Also any ideas or suggestions would be useful. Thanks

You will want a film if you are trying to go with the JDM look.
No one will notice the little yellow bulb.
I accidentally the SHIFT LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
The proper way of using the word seen. It is not I seen it that would be I saw it. He has seen the car is the right way to use the word. English class is Cool. By the way thats my sig
So the Luminics bulbs are the way to go. They are cheaper too if I'm not mistaken. Would the bulbs and film be better? I'm affraid it might be "too much" yellow and the cops wont like it.

Cops dont like US..so..they'll get over it.
Yellow is legal in fogs because that wavelength of light allows for better penetration of the fog. Now you start yellowing your main headlights and youll get into trouble.
I've had trouble with the Nokya bulbs going out after a while. Give the luminics a try.
I've had my nokya bulbs for a year or two and they seem to work good. Never had any problems like that. The yellow color isn't the a true yellow, but for a non hid fog bulb it isn't bad.
Ever thought of some 3000k HID's? Nice yellow and VERY bright.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Was looking around today and found a set of PIAA H3 Plasms Ion Yellow. Part number 13556. According to their website they put out 85 watts. These are brighter than the Nokya and Luminics if I am not mistaken. What does everyone think of trying these? Im thinking they are a brighter bulb and I have heard nothin but good things about PIAA.

Check to see what watt bulbs you've got now. I know if you throw some 85 watt bulbs in a 55 watt setup, you'll burn your harness. I've always prefered Luminics bulbs, worked well when I had them

I have 55 watt bulbs in my fogs, that are supposed to be 35 with no problems, and running them for over 6 months. But 85 and you would need to run bigger wires and a relay. You might also have to worry about the housings melting.

yellow is legal. at least up here it is. and i know someone with nokya daytime/highbeam yellow bulbs and no problems yet, they look sick too. Nokya white outers as well still no problems.

PIAAs are good bulbs. That is what I replaced the Nokyas with. They are expensive but good quality.
I have 6000k headlights and 3000k fogs. Works amazing in the fog and the headlights rock at night. In my opinion it's the best setup for look/performance.
They were the first mod on my car since I hit a deer a year ago so I wanted some better visibility.
Luminics bulbs in yellow.....had those....they melted my housings

But I had them on all the time for no real reason.
Now putting HID's in my projector fogs....thats gunna be hella nice

i think the film is the way to go if going for a "JDM" feel. the main reason being, that they will still be yellow when off. I think that is a better "JDM" look that just yellow bulbs in the housings. Check local laws before anything though if you are concerned about it. and i would be more worried about putting that high wattaqge bulb in the small headlight housing than melting the harness.
i have seen severl toasted cavalier fog lights from improper bulbs.
