i bought a set of euros for my sunfire, and when i went to put them on, they dont fit. they look the same, but a different size. im not sure if they are maybe for the newer body style or not, but i wasted 240 dollars on them. does anyone know where i can get euros for a 97 2dr gt? thanks

It sounds like you might have bought Sunfire Sedan/Cavalier taillights. They are almost the same shape, but will not fit a Sunfire Coupe. Were the ones you bought something like these? If so, those are for Sunfire Sedans/Cavaliers.

The only ones that are made for 1995 - 2002 Sunfires are the APC Retro 3D taillights.

So you hate cavaliers, but join a cavalier site? Nothing better to do than to start arguements with people?

stick to your dodge forum and get a life, fggt.

As for Richard: Im pretty sure you got the sedan/coupe tails mixed up, like Carrie already mentioned. Sunfire coupe is different from everything else for some reason.

I got these off of eBay about three years ago, brand new in the APC factory packaging.

As you noted, these showed up quite often on eBay back then but rarely if ever now . I suspect that's because they are out of production and most of the original stock is gone.

APC actually made these in four finishes: black, satin graphite -- which is what I have -- faux carbon fiber and chrome. In terms of what I saw on eBay and various online retailers when these were in production, chrome and black were the most readily available, carbon fiber less so and the satin graphite hardly ever. The set I grabbed on eBay were the only ones in that finish I ever saw for sale anywhere; have never seen them on another Fire locally or online).

Here are some online retailers that between them still show the chrome, graphite -- a.k.a. "Titanium" -- and Carbon fiber versions of these APC tails (which were all marketed as part of the "retro 3D" series) as being avaliable. If you're interested, I'd advise emailing or phoning first to make sure they do indeed have them, because a lot of these online accessory places aren't particularly good about keeping their sites updated.
