anyone know if a carbon fiber trunk would hold up to two 12's pounding in the trunk or will the trunk crack or come apart.
itl prolly come apart. i wouldnt trust it. which is why i got rid of my subs just for the trunk. i now run one powered 10 in the trunk with no problems. but im working on something for the back seat area i think
ran 2 13" subs with my CF trunk with no issues.
GET SOME INSULATION LIKE DYNAMAT ON THE TRUNK TO MINIMIZE THE POTENTIAL FOR DAMAGE.

sort of had my subs in last summer with my c/f trunk. it's prob not advised to do so. i'm doin it again this summer just not as loud. the music i'm listenin to now isn't as loud as rap music's bass.

lol, mine broke last summer from 2 12's, shattered every where, and the port sucked in almost all of the glass.
