The $1200 Cavalier Convertible

Here are a few pics of my 1997 Cavalier Convertible LS. This car has 128,000 miles, the top and electronics work great and it runs well...or $1200! She has a new top and tires and some decent aftermarket wheels and not a spot of rust anywhere. She has got some bumps and bruises, but I'm planning on painting her metallic white and doing the body work. I've got clear corners for the front and a Z34 bumper for her that have yet to be installed.

The weatherstrips are okay...they will need replaced in the next few years but they do not leak. I'm not afraid to invest some money in the car as I've been wanting a 'vert for a long time and this one is solid.

the swap to an 03+ looks awesome. and i don't think anyone on this site cept a minor few are worried about dumping $$$$$ into thier cars.hell i just dumped 230 on a custom 2.25 " cat back exhaust with a 25" glasspack and ractive muffler that i bought myself. next up is tinting my windows and lowering it the week after it's been too long sitting 4X4. time to get low.

I have a 2007 Mustang that I show and a 1986 Fiero GT we are redoing right now to show, so this one is just going to be made into a clean DD.
