if you do it right you can have both, i wanted to do this. what year is your car?

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

my car is a 2000 ... the upper corner light is a double filament bulb with three wires... a constant, a running light feed, and a turn signal feed....

the way it is switch, if you feed a positive to the marker and run the other wire to the parking light of you marker, when you hit the turn signal the parking light changers from a negative signal to a positive, thus turning off the marker when the turn signal flash is on, and when the flashes off the marker is on, they flash opposite of eachother. but it will always be on if you have your parking lights on

i was thinking it could be done with a relay with the turn signal on the "off switch" (center port) on the relay, so that the turn signal flashes on, the light goes out... the only problem is that the turn signal on the marker will be opposite the turn signal on the corner light.

but since your method is much simpler, i'll give it a go....

thanks!!

so wait....

your method only works with the parking lights on....if the parking lights are off, the turn signals won't work... right|?

correct, but i suppose if you use a relay instead of wiring it to the parking lights it would always work.

i thought about it... the only way i could get it to work with a relay is if i used a ignition on power source for the "+" terminal on the relay, Chassis ground the "-" terminal, then use the turn signal for the "off" terminal, and leave the "on" terminal empty.... the marker would come on with the key, and blink on turn signal....

But i'd need to find an ignition on wire in the engine bay i can use for the relays, and route the wires accordingly so they stay hidden

mine are wired into the running lights. you CAN go the route with the relay. i thought about it for a few months and ended up deciding not too....
