does anyone have a pic of a 1996 - 2000 sunfire with clear headlight lenses with the stock lights underneath
DO NOT put clear lenses on your Sunfire unless you plan on getting projectors to go along with them. There is a reason behind that design on the headlight lenses.
He's right ^, you really don't want just clear lenses on your stock headlights without a Projector retro of some kind. The stock "diffused" lenses on your headlights (ribbed lenses) are what actually "direct" the light to minimize glare and focus the beam pattern in the most effective manor for driving without blinding other drivers.
However, my Projector headlights are pretty reasonably priced considering that you get "50 Watt HIDs & Angel Eyes" and you don't have to send your headlights to be retro-fitted.
Allthough, I can knock $50 off of the price if you do want to send your lights to be retro-fitted....(must be in GOOD condition)
Still a MUCH better price than anyone can offer on a custom build. Think about it....

ok i get you, am i going to get mass tickets with these though? you post very clearly these are for off road use only
also what does retro fitted mean exactly do they bolt right in? or do i have to fab some stuff?
im new to all of this but the look i am trying to achieve involves these projectors
and lastly could i send my stock lights after i put the new ones on cause i drive this daily i could send pics of the
lights ahead of time so that you know what is coming back to you
No fabrication necessary! These headlights are built to replace your stockers directly. You'll get very easy to follow instructions on "plug & play" HIDs.
When I list my builds on Ebay, it's important that I include a disclaimer for "non DOT" because for DOT approval each set would have to be inspected & approved be The Department of Transportation. Also some states consider anything not "Original Equipment" to be illegal. These headlights are built with very High Quality Projectors and are compliant with most common laws reguarding color and conflicting glare.
I doubt you would ever have any trouble with my Projector Headlights and the local authorities. But, if you try driving around with just clear lenses, you may have a problem.
