Guys, how the hell do you keep your exterior in good condition? I have a 04 cavalier and I did highway driving for a good year and well my entire car is full of stone chips. Also the paint fix that they did on the bumper is crap because it's pealing.

I got it polished and was and tossed a bra on the car. I wish I could keep the exterior in good condition.

Any recommendations?

1st set is to get rid of the bra. Dirt, stones, w/e gets between them and your paint and scratches it all to hell.

Cover the car in painters tape and change it out once a week....... or dont drive it.




Just wash it constantly and keep a good coat of wax on it....... thats about all you can do other than not driving it in the winter (if you live where it snows) and staying off gravel roads.

And yes..... remove the bra..... they actually damage cars.... they dont protect them.

It's to late for wrecking the car. The entire front end is wrecked. Stone chips to hell, broken emblem, pealing paint. The bra can sit on there and what's underneath can just get discolored for all I care.

Repaint it.. Hood, bumper, whatever needs to be painted.

That wouldn't be a problem if I had the money to blow.

Wash regularly. Wax ever so often. Polish and clay bar will help the overall look as well.
