Has anyone done an HID conversion on 03-05?

I'm wondering where you mounted the ballasts, how difficult it was, and where you got the kit. Seems like theres an endless number of converison kits out there, I want it to begood quality and last awhile. If you have any pics of where you mounted the ballasts that would be great too...

Yuppers. Take the headlights out, and attach them to the frame supports. Thats where mine are. There up and away from salt and road debris. Here is a pic.

Not sure on the kit, it came with the projectors when I got them.

I attached mine inside side sides of the bumper using the supplied sticky double sided sticky tape.

Did you guys retrofit projectors onto your headlights,
or did you just throw HID bulbs in to the stock location?

You can also bolt the ballast to that silver bolt to the right of where you drilled your hole. It would have saved you some trouble LOL

When I had my projector retro done, and when I have suggested it to others, I found mounting them under the frame where the fender support bolts in is a great location gives you easy access to hook it up on the headlight yet out of harms way, had my projectors on for a couple years with absolutely no issues with water damage to the ballast.
