Tint strip on windshield

I'm getting mine done next weekend. My car is black and I have 35% all the way around. I'm wondering if I should go darker or just keep it the same?

keep it the same.

I say you peel all the 35 % off, and throw some 5% on.

I had 20% on my car windows and on the front windshield banner I did 5%.
IMO it looks a lot cleaner because it is a solid black instead of some visibility from the outside.

I actually just saw a Yellow LSS with a yellow color matched banner on the front and rear windows and that actually looked pretty cool. So do it as dark as you can IMO.

do it 5%. thats what i have on the gtp. 15% all around w/ a 5% strip. helps keep the sun outta the eyes!

ive got 20 on mine now, the darker you go the better...

i wouldnt do the colour matched strip if its your dd because law says you have to be able to see through it at least slightly...

at least its like that where im from

color matched strips look tacky. i have 15% all the way around on the GS including the eyebrow and i think it looks good. Also mine is down alot farther then the AB line too so it helps.

So I'll go like 4inches of 15% then. Best of both worlds

The darker the better, i have 5% for my sunstrip and sunroof. If you have an AS-1 line on the windshield legally the tint cant extend below that. I think you'd have to be a real dick to cop to have him start looking for stuff like that though, so anything should be fine.
