the led rings are for show. you still have to put your stock bulbs in the them. you wire them up to a switchable 12v source or some how to your running lights so they turn on when you turn on the head lights

ya you could do that! wire them up just like you would toyota tail lights. you would have the hyper/crazy fast blinker though.

so the tails do require the socket plug in with bulb for the brake lights etc,,, and you can wire up the leds for show or what not...

PROPER FLASHER could help with that

seriously, the flasher is cheaper than resistor blocks, doesnt heat up, and is a whole lot easier to install. dont use resistors.
