I heard that is possible to custom made a front lip for a sunfire SE(mine is '97). Is it possible to cut a front bumper from the junkyard and make a lip without looking like crap ...? I heard that someone have done it before but I wanna see the result. If someone can post somes pics it could be great.
Second question-> is it possible to swap the sideskirts of a GT on a SE model? (i already searched for a thread about it but i couln't find something interesting, sorry) Thanks.
Ps. I ask the question because i'm not interested in the wings west front lip. In canada we have goddamn winter, so i don't wanna scratch some precious aftermarkets parts

I live in Calgary and my WW lip is still perfect not even a rock chip it's all in how you drive in the winter.
do you have a full lip kit from WW or just the front? i'm curious to see what it looks like with only the front.
just the front i'll post a pick when i get home. The previous owner liked to ram the car right up to the parking blocks so only the front was missing.
pretty nice with the lip, you have already a lip kit(stock one) with the car, the sunfire dosent come with one so its @!#$ lol I think i'm gonna stay stock

I have the wingswest front lip on my sunfire sedan, love it, but it does have quite a few chips in the paint from the salt they use on the roads here in nova scotia.....and its been paintted just last year.... oh well, will need a repaint someday again./... but for us here in canada the lip is not cheap, but imo its weel worth it for the 95-99 se bumper...

The wings west lip i have is made for the 95-99 se bumper. iwill post a pic when i get home if someone dont post one of their pics first, a few of us have it...
I might try the home depot garden edging stuff on my rear bumper sometime.....

It could me nice to see what it look like! coz im not in love with the home depot lip whatever you call it XD In my opinion I think it look rice but it's simply personal tastes..my 2cents. All depend on the way it was done too lol.

My lip has a few more chips then yours as i drive mine all year round; i tried shrink wrap on the lip; ended up scratching the lip as the dirt and salt got behind it...
i will try and remember to post pics today as well.

I love the lip. I've been wanting one for mine for years but i am not paying over 700 bucks for it. Thats ebays price. It will cost more to get it too me then the lip itself. damn i hate living on the end of Canada.

Yeah the pic with the paintters tape looks bad, as its winter here with cold weather, snow, lots of damm salt, freezing rain etc.... so m y lip gets beat with salt/rock chips and all that...... i did have shrink wrap covering the entire lip and most of the front end; but after taking it off to wash the lip and wax, i noticed that the shrink wrap was holding in dirt and salt and scratching the lip; so winter will be over here in about 4-6 weeks, if not this winter next winter if i dont put the car away i will be buying that spray on mask from duplicolor and giving that a go,,,,,,
