so... I'm thinking of getting rid of my backup lights and changing them to red runners so I have 4 rear running lights...
has anyone tried this? I want to see how they would look... any pictures anywhere?
(PS. I'm not completely getting rid of my backups, just making them a dual fillament bulb and having one set running, one set backup)

I think the olds aurora had that kind of a setup except the 2 lights in the bumper were the runners. Maybe a place to start looking I guess?
You could look into the 4 dr sunfires as well could you not??

Ya, that's the closest I could think of comparing it to, but because of the
white reverse of 03+ cavs, it will look completely different...
and for legal reasons, I belive I will have to put some sort of sheild so the 3757 bulb is not shining directly into someone behind me, no?

actually i did it on my 95 sunfire with 96 cavalier trunk all i did was found out what wire was brake and running then ran wires and the correct plugs over to it and with a red bulb it looked good but i didnt run it long i cant find a pic of it but it looked really good since 4dr sunfires have the reverse lights in the bumper i did away with them lol
