Hello i have a 2005 pontiac sunfire and the color is a tan/metallic beige/gold. Im a bit bored with the color and dont really like it. On the sides of the car and also the back bumper and trunk it says "sunfire" Not an emblem...just an indentation. I bought some black spray paint yesterday so i can paint my front emblem (looks great by the way) Im thinking about painting those indentations black also....maybe adding some glitter in with it. Do you think it would look good if i painted them black or do ya think it would be a bit too "bam"???
Opinions would be greatly appreciated!!
I can't remember where, but a website had vinyl stickers to just put in those indentations. Might save you some work and time, I'll see if I can find it or if anyone else here knows what I'm talking about.

The stickers would be great although i do loooove painting the stuff myself.....i just feel a great sence of accomplishment after im done lol. I bought black acrilyic spray paint that i would probably just hand paint on myself. Idk if i would have to sand off the original car paint (which would probably be a real pain in the ass to do...i dont even wanna think about it lol) or just paint right over it and just make sure its really clean and clear coated. But hey if i can find the stickers i may opt for that. Thanks
haha yeah I know what you mean.
If anything, I think sanding the indentation would be pretty much close to impossible, and your best bet would be to prime first, cause that'd have a better cahnce of adhering to the paint.....
but, just to make your life easier, I managed to hunt down a page full of goodies for ya.

i would say it depends on the color scheme youre going for.... black wheels? sure that could work. but you dont want to just paint it because you can... best bet would be to post some decent pics in the Image Manip forum and ask someone to photoshop them to see what it would look like
