Hi
I have water in my Fog light as you can see in the pictures with the bulb still in there
I had this problem before as I took the light out and water got in there
But it all went away
I put these new bulbs in a month ago finally to replace the old blown ones,(NO WATER FOR A MONTH) on Saturday I was told my Fog light was out
So today I looked at it and see this???????/
Now I don't have a clue how the water got in there and don't know how to stop it
But I know the bumper needs to come off now
Think I might put some Gold Fish in there HA-HA
But Has this happened to anyone else or how is the water getting in the light
Any help would be great
are you driving through rather large puddles?
those should have two drains.. one on the top and one on the bottom..... so it's weird that it would be actually holding water like that... you could try some silicon around the edges... however the @!#$ thing for you is that you won't really be able to clear up those lenses..
Can't you get to it easier if you just take out the headlight? Is something screwed up with the drain? Silicone the seam and see if it fixes it.
(Hah, beaten to it) I tried to clean up the inside of one of mine once, wrapped a rag around the end of a screwdriver and wiggled it around inside. Helped a bit.

What Drain???
The Car has sat for almost 6 months(so no puddles)
In the winter it was Ice and then with some of the 30+ days got evaporated in the summer
So if theres a Drain i look for it when I take of the bumper off to get the water out or to get my shop vac to suck the water up
you can't get you hand behind there easy even with them splash guards taken off
sorry about the spelling mistakes and missing words
Take your headlights out, should be able to unbolt the fogs from there. Drain the water, drill a TINY pin hole in the bottom, silicone the light and have fun.

my sunfire fogs.. have holes in the bottom so in-case any water did get in it would automatically drain... inspect them for any type of openings that would be letting water in...
i had the same problem and had to drill a hole in them. my lenses are toast because of it too.
Well I took it all apart and have a few questions towards the end
Look at the Bulb LOL
Damn is the Bulb messed up
Now I Don't see any cracks or anything for the water to get in/I don't see a drain hole but have a question about this next pic
Still don't see how water got in
Now is this a Drain Hose????
so i can just use a Razor blade to cut open the lenses and drill a 1/8 hole for the water to get out
thanks
i had the same problem with my camaro. i just drilled 3 holes small holes. one at the bottom to drain the water and 2 up top to help air circulation
