so im in the process of changing the front of my car to 00-02.. im having a problem with the hood latch mechanism from the 04 hood. Is the hook that mounts to the hood different on the 00-02, and is the latch different also. any info would help since i cant finish this.

The part that bolts to the hood is shorter on the 95-02 hoods than it is on the 03+ hoods. The part bolted to the radiator support will work, just needs some fine tune adjusting (10mm bolts, 3 of 'em... loosen a bit then either raise or lower that to fit)
