OK her's the deal. My dad just traded his Cobalt in for an HHR panel. He swapped the original spoiler back on and gave me the SS one he put on it. My question is how to make it fit on the Sunfire. I know I need to fabricat some mounting pads but how? Im new to bodywork. So Im lost but hey its FREE. I do need to get painted though because its blue my car is red with black racing stripes. Any help is appreciated but I DONT want opinions on how bad it will look because I think it will lookk cool and its MY car. Not triyin to be rude but I need technical info not opinions.

fact. They figure the more crap they say the less likley anyone will know how dumb they are.
don't you already have the stock sunfire wing on there? Or did you take it off/didn't come with one
Im takin the stock one because I think it sucks.

you'd probably be better off just getting a new trunk lid w/o a spoiler. < instead of filling the holes on yours!
then u just drill the holes for the ss spoiler, and your done!
as far as the look, i say go for it! i'd do it, cause people will hate it.

i think jazer/azulkav has a cobalt wing on her cavy, dont quote me on it but you could get a feel for what it looks like.

Not rocket science
2dr. Sunfires have sloped and curved trunk lids not flat ones. I dont want the front of the spoiler pointing toward the sky.

Then position it where it looks good, mark your holes and drill. If you have exposed holes, I would highly recommend getting a spoilerless trunk lid from a yard. My dad welded the holes for my old spoiler closed when I put my Celica wing on and it was a royal pain.
you have a coupe. its gonna be hard to mount it. those lids arent the same as a cav lid. good luck with it if you get it on. personally i think its gonna take alot of work to get it to look right.

Photoshop it on and then know how retarded it will look.

Agreed. If you ever get a chance to park next to an SS and do a side by side comparison, you'll see it is going to take some fabbing to make it work

I will say this, the SS spoiler does not flow well with the Sunfire body lines as the aesthetic is more for the flat trunk, however, depending on how much time you spend with fitment, it should be able to be pulled off nicely.
make some fiberglass pedestals for it to sit on that contour with the curve of the trunk lid but are level on the top so the spoiler will be the way you want it.
IMO it would look extremely gay, but you said you didnt care so to each his own i guess...
