so me and my brother just started polishing stuff a couple days ago and i have decided to polish everything in my engine bay i can. i was wondering if anybody has done this before and if you have any tips or pictures?

tip don't polish everything it'll look tacky a lil color matching will work wonders along with some polishing

well i was going to polish everything and do my wire looms and vacumm lines in blue and have some braided lines. but i was wanting some tips on what to polish

ok so i got my timing chain housing polished and it looks good so hopefully ill be able to get pics up soon in the meantime im going to get back to work on the idi cover and timing chain housing cover.

Dont use the blue silicone vacuum lines that you get at like pepboys, they are flimsy and colapse when warm.

just a heads up......and blue loom looks really rice IMO.

Some clean polishing with color match looks good. Keep the accessories (lines and looms) black though. what color is your car BTW?

my car is red right now but im doing a color change to a silver, with black rims with a polished lip

Red + black = SEX
Silver + black = SEX

Red + blue = purple.....not sex.

Silver + blue = better than red....but still not sex.

Keep stuff black, you will thank yourself in the end.

My hole engine bay is polished, no joke...

Even the block....



Seriously though, polishing is addicting.. Ive done even more polishing now that my motor is out...

yeah i would love to see pics of your engine bay. i was going with the subaru sti theme with silver and blue. there wont be any red on then car in the end

Polishing, is what we do at the shop....

Its a dirty job, but the results are rewarding.

well i found that as long as you take your time it comes out good but if you rush you get a lot of scratches
