I am looking on the Classified Exterior section at "RKSport Prostock spoiler and fully shaved trunk". The Seller is solicitating spoiler and trunk assembly for a hard top cavalier. I own a 2000 Z24 Cavalier Convertable and am very interested in purchasing this item, but i was made aware that his spoiler and trunk from a hardtop cavalier may be a different size then my Convertable.
Can anyone add their expertise on this subject. Will his spoiler and trunk fit on my Convertable? Thanks to all for the help!!!
i could be wrong here, but as far as i know they should both fit.
i know there are some differences in the vert vs. non-vert but i dont think trunk was one of them.
there are many differences in the coupes vs verts, but the trunk lids are the same size (its the trunk space thats different) so a trunk lid and prostock from a coupe or even a sedan will fit on your drop top w/o any problem.
exactly i have a coupe and a vert both white. i picked up a 02 ls sport spoiler and slapped it right on the vert to see what it would look like, then put it on my coupe. as long as your trunk already has the z24 holes for the spoiler it'll match perfectly.
yes it fits great. I got mine off of a 2000 z24 convertible. Drilled some holes and got her on just fine.
