Gah! I just discovered the top holes for the license plate mounts on the back of my Sunfire are stripped out. (Honest, it wasn't me that did it)
It was kinda dark in the garage, so didn't really look at it too close. Is there some kind of clip in there that catches the screw that can be replaced, or should I just get larger screws?
hit up the dealer, they will likely give the little plastic parts to you for free,
brother-in-law's plate got stolen and they took the nuts and plastic bits and the dealer just gave him new ones
Cool, I took a closer look last night and saw it had the little plastic inserts. I just popped one of the bottom ones off and switched it to the top and all is well
