Hey guys, I am looking into getting the evil eyes hood, and I remember reading something a good while back about whiteboy.ca not being a good company to buy from because they don't always ship out their items. Am I remembering correctly or am I thinking of another company.

In addition, there is an ebay user whiteboydotca who is selling the hood also, it seems apparent that it is the same vendor as the website but I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck.

Thanks guys
Jeff

E-mail the guys at CF-TEC... I did so and will be buying my hood in the next couple of weeks. Good prices too... if I rmember right a fiberglass evil eyes (OEM) hood for the Sunfire was around $340 and the carbon fibre version was a little over $500. I would definetly go that route being there located in Hamilton... not sure if you pay anything extra for a product entering Quebec but you probably wouldn't wait as long.

Thanks guys. LOL from hamilton to montreal there aren't any borders so I wouldn't pay any extra fees - maybe shipping would be a little more expensive. Thanks guys though - what I really wanted was an evil eyes hood not from whiteboy. Thanks guys.

Well, I guess I will have to email them like you said, because in there product listing they have these 2 items:

SUNFIRE OE 95-02 11201 Y
SUNFIRE RAMAIR (NF) 95-02 11201R Y

The first has no picture, and the second one's picture doesn't show evil eyes. Hmmm... I'll email them and post the answer here.

Yeah, you'll have to email them, that's what I did. Here's the reponse I got:

Nick, heres some numbers for you.

95-02 SUNFIRE CARBON FIBER EVILEYE HOOD = $530
95-02 SUNFIRE FIBERGLASS EVILEYE HOOD = $340

**SHIPPING WOULD BE AROUND $120-150 CDN.

Let me know what you think, thanks for the inquiry.

correct me if i am wrong, but the problem was not him shipping products, but him just being an all around a$$hole. I think there were some fitment issues as well.

either way I wouldnt do bidness with him. even though I do have his hood, but i didnt buy it from him...

so when you defend yourself, are you being an a$$hole? as far as i remember thats all they were doing. would i buy from them? no, but because you simply DO NOT get angered and take it out on customer base, no matter how big the lashing gets. they had trouble with keeping their cool, does that make them a bad company because of it? no.

most fiberglass or carbon fiber hoods have fitment issues... ive seen quite a few and they have all had their little quirks, even big names like JSP and VIS.

Riddle me this... riddle me that...

Yeah it does when the product is not up to par to begin with.

It wasn't fitment, it was the craftsmanship of the hoods. All that I've seen have very obvious flaws that can not be fixed by a simple adjustment.

If I defended myself in the same way he did, yes, I would be an a$$hole. There is no reason for him to act the way he did, and say the things he said. End of discussion.

I agree most of the aftermarket body panels in general have some fitment issues, but when you can hang a light from one side of the hood, and see it through the hood in multiple areas from insufficient fiberglass....thats not a "fitment" problem.

The thing is, he was selling the molds on HERE a while ago, and I believe that the whiteboy name is being made by someone else now. From what I gathered, hebasically sold the business, molds and all rights to the molds.

It is hit and miss quality wise with WB.ca hoods. Attitude seems to be poor as well.

Here is what he sent:

$525 for a carbon fiber hood plus $135 for shipping, so a total of $660.
$330 for a fiberglass hood plus $135 for shuipping, so a total of $465

and here is the picture he sent me along with th quote:

See, the thing is - if im going to spend that much money on an aftermarket item then I want to be happy with it. I can't justify it to myself to spend $500 to simply get eyelids. The hood has no curves no nothing, completly stock. Does anyone know where I can get something like whiteboy's - but not whiteboys?

Anybody know anything about this one? Was it done custom?

Or lets say I buy some other aftermarket hood, approximately how much would it cost to have the evil eyes fiberglassed onto it? (I've never played w/ fiberglass yet).

thats the RK hood and someone molded the eyelids on. if you buy an aftermarket glass hood it would be pretty simple to mold eyelids on, even as a first timer. ive actually got some fiber lids here that would be perfect for this type of project. all you would need is the hood and to mold the two together. ive posted up instructions on how to do it already.

Either get a fiberglass hood and glass them on, or weld on an oem hood and mold them in if you just want eyelids.
