How rare are indigo blue metallic sunfires/cav's??? I know the color was only available from 00-02 and the reason I am asking is I have had a really really tough time finding body parts for my 01 sunfire gt.... also there are tons of cav's/sunfires in my city however I have only ever seen maybe 2 other GT's that were indigo blue and only one z24 in indigo...
my 4 door z is indigo. it's not that rare. maybe just in your area.
ya I've just been having the toughest time locating body parts.... it takes roughly 4-5 months to get into a body shop here so I figured I would try to find a donor car... but there is nothing around here
Not a rare color but in my opinion, it's easily the best color a J ever came in.
I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.
Thats blue is nice and the blue on my sunfire which is the electric metallic blue awesome color!

When I had mine I always got complements on it. In fact when I went to pick it up at the dealership, it was sitting in the showroom and they said 5 or 6 people tried to buy it cause it looked so good.

Love the color... I get a lot of compliments as well (should look better this summer once I get my color matched handles and mirrors on) but it just seems to be a PITA to find wrecked ones =) haha
I think indigo blue is about the second most common color on the 00-02 cavalier that comes in a close tie to silver which is about the most common color I have seen on the cavalier.

I did only sort of liked it at first but it has grown on me. This color blue and polished or shiny parts just look tits together.

yeah, I've seen my fair share, especially in the base model. I have not seen many Red 00-02 Z24's though.
I love the color of my car, ONLY in the night time though. I truly think the night time/almost sunset is the BEST time to show off metalic paint. I personally haven't seen too much of that color around my aera. I mostly see a lot of 95 - 99 base model cavalier's, the ones with the bumpers in primmer. Also, that color with chrome or any black is sexy!

if anyone ever comes across a sunfire in a wreckers that has a drivers side fender in good shape I would be more then happy to reimburse them for their time parts and shipping =).....
So I finally hit the jackpot... well I hit the jackpot and someone else lost a very nice 01 GT Sunfire.... got rear ended and written off... managed to get the hood and front fender off of it at a wreckers...
anyways... has anyone noticed dark spots on their hood??? The hood I have right now has them and the previous owner tried to remove them (ended up just messing up the clear coat)... and I noticed the hood I pulled off this car has the same spots in it.... they look almost like a oil spot but seem to be under the clear coat...
