That car is very sexy!

Yep I have my CF hood painted with flat clear, it looks just like the hood of the above car only with CF underneath.

Nope, I don't have any good pics of it. From a distance it looks just the hood on the above car only with carbon fiber underneath. Same shine and look as above.

I forget what company it is now but the make the flat black base coat clear coat! Might check house of kolors or places like that online! I never thought of it on a cavy or sunfire always have seen it on rat rods and hot rods and such and they always look killer with red pinstriping!

"Hot Rod Flatz" They've got many flat colors, pearls, metallics, etc. Kinda expensive, but seems to be good shyte. My Cav has been sittin' in semi-flat black for a couple years now, but I can't find any pics right now. Dunno if I even have any, come to think of it...

i think he meant Flat clear coat.... lol so therefore it would show through, but not "shine" like a gloss clear

Sooo clean

Yeah, its sprayed with flat clear, so it has the same finish as all of the other cars but instead of the black underneath its just that flat finish on top of the CF. Picture a regular CF hood, just not shiney. Its really hard to get a good pic of the finish as well as being able to see the CF. I have tried several times and it just ends up making my hood look cloudy and faded in the pics because of the finish. But looks good in person. Although I will be repainting it soon...

Sorry!
