was wondering if anyone else had a problem with 95-99 projector fitment. the high beam housing is hitting the frame above it and not sure how to correct the problem.
any advice from anyone who has done a 95-99 projector swap on a 95-99 cavalier would be appreciated.
thanx.
yeah...its not the frame thats gettting in the way, its the actual lobe that the bulb fits into that is hitting the frame.
then take a angle grinder to the frame rail and cut a piece out on the bottom side
i read that someone else had the same problem, and they just drilled new holes so that the headlight sits lower on the rail...
also, wont cutting the frame rail take away from the stabilty of the frame rail itself?
no, griding a hole is the best way. re drilling holes will result in it still looking like ass.
exactly....... if you were to cut a peice that went from top to bottom then you might have a SMALL amount of frame flex......but like i said just cut the bottom half
