would i be able to wire up these foglights to a rocker switch inside my cabin and use them? im tired of not being able to see @!#$...

im assuming if i just run power from the battery, to the switch and then out to the lights i should be able to get them to work. i know its SUPPOSED to be wired to not work with the high beams, but if i had these on, i would be sure to switch them off for high beams. or just not use the high beams...
opinions? i thought the halo's would be neat to use as a parking light sort of thing.
thoughts?
thanks!
OH, they would be mounted in my type J bumper, behind the grills to keep them from sticking out, almost like a stealth light... not looking for super bright lights, but just something to light up the road a bit more...
thanks
no they wont work they will add to much of a parasitic power overload with those light up rings, and disable the cars v-chip from functioning properly thus creating friction on the vtec moduale and could start a fire.....
wow that was confusing... lol
i think i can translate that though....
so your saying if i disable my vtec power module from the alignment ring and make sure the light portals dont touch the v-chip then i should be alright?
in short... you dont like the halo's on them... lol
i was going to be using the red halo's or the white ones but its just a feature of the lights... i was planning on white lamps and white rings while driving...
idk its early... i have no clue what i just typed.
wire it right. lights to relay, relay to power and switch. and honestly, that's HUGE foglight for a cav... i dont think it'll look as good as you're hoping.
JBO Stickers! Get yours today!
im planning on putting it BEHIND the mesh so you wont see it... but i would like to find 3" lamps... i wasnt a huge fan of the size at first...
thanks for the tips... if you run across 3" lamps please let me know about it

YOU GOT IT MAN! those will work perfect as long as the light portals dont come in physical contact with the v-chip.

Find a switched power source (park light wire works) and use that in place of the fuse panel in the diagram
thanks for the link... im glad i could actually see it... where would be a "good place" for such an elaborate relay?
*** still looking for 3" lamps if anybody has any please let me know***
Auto parts store... there are relays with sockets and wire leads... packaged as a "fog light relay kit"... usually in the same area as the electrical connectors and/or bubs
Either that or ask for a DRL relay and socket for a 97 Sunfire... they should give you a 5 pin relay
