trickey hid question (simulate a stock headlight)

I got a great hid kit, but it only uses one of the stock headlight sockets. I get a service error, unless i put the stock bulb in the other stock headlight socket, so i end up having 2 really bright headlights and one stock bulb that i would like to simulate be adding a resister possibly so that the computer is fooled into thinking i have it hooked up??? anyone got any ideas?

remove cluster, remove service (wrench) light, re-install cluster.

Thats about it.
