ok I followed the how to on this website but... I didn't cut the wire in the steering column and my tails are working just fine see for yourself:
LoL try the turn signals? You have to cut the wire...
turns signal work good too ! and its only the orange part that is flashing
what I did was match the wires
brown to brown
black to black
yellow and green to blue and light blue
tapped the 3rd brake light wire to plug the white wire
Something is wrong I know that. I thought that I didn't need to do this the first time I did this, but I found something wrong just a few min's later.
well so far everything works great
OK I found the problem ! if I don't cut it the yellow bulb lights up when I hit the brakes ! but it's ok now took 2 seconds and went to cut it
See I told you that there was something. I forgot what it was till I came in here to check if you found it. Enjoy the tails.

I've cut the white wire .... took 2 secs to find just pop the top behind the steering wheel and it there !
You do have the wire, its just run down on the connector instead of straight out.

Thats what happened to the Sunbird when I put in Ph2 Cavalier taillights and rewired em...every time I hit the brakes the parking lights came on with em...
I love my toyo tails, The amber rear signal is so bright at night when I am turning. These compliment any cavalier and should have came like this to the US! I can get pics and post of all wires that were done and cut and what not if wanted?
