I googled and ebay searched for these, but no luck for oem style carbon fiber fenders. I plan on having them painted anyway, just want to reduce as much weight as possible. I'd even settle for oem style fibglass, just don't want any of the z3 or f1 or any vents on the fenders at all, just oem. Glass or fiber anyone have any ideas?

Well if you're gonna paint anyways, why not just get whatever fenders and then shaved the vents?
Because that would be a pain that I don't have the time to deal with, I'm putting my motor together and having a hard time finding the 6-8 hours to put it in. I'd rather just buy them and take it to the body shop have it painted and put it on the car.

i believe nopi sells both cf and fg oem style fenders. also talk to jason at aplusperformance (when hes back from his honeymoon that is) i think he can get you some also.
to be honest, i doubt there would be any serious difference in weight. the stock fenders are pretty light to begin with
but i guess you could ask Cody aka Nitynine, he has the cf fenders
I know the difference in weigt is minor, but there is a difference. Thanks for pointing me in the diretion I need to look guys.

They are pretty significantly lighter, mine are CF over fiberglass but you still get a nice noticeable difference in weight. i can hold em on my pinky only.
I am getting rid of them actually, i have Toyo fenders instead.
if your worrying about weight i think nopi also sells cf front doors. id worry more on the trunk and i see you have the hood already, and then id start ripping out seats and sound deading material in the floor. in the end tho its kinda a waste unless your autoxing or running it at the track.
I've already stripped all the sound deading material out of the car, it's just one of those things that'll give me piece of mind, a cf hood and trunk are also in the works.
