Just wondering if there would be any interest in a copy of the 03+ ls sport lower lip able to bolt to your stock base 03+ bumper.
If you see how the lip is cut off in this picture I would be making lip identical to it but with tabs on the back side to bolt to your base model 03+ bumper.
Just seeing if there would be any interest.
made from.......Fiber Glass or Carbon Fiber.
also willing to mold 03+ lips to any cavalier bumper. 95-99 base/z24 base 00-02 base/z24 03-05base.
Thank You,
Paul Tjepkes

also looking to see what you guys think for price.
If you didn't get that.
I will be making lips for 03+ base model bumpers it will bolt right on. they will be made in fiberglass or fiberglass covered in carbon fiber.
I can also mold them to your bumpers.
if you look in the picture there are white lines where tabs would be there are a few to many on it there would be about 10 tabs to mount it.
In this picture you could have carbon fiber inside the white line or have the whole lip carbon.
i can make lips to look identical to these for any 95-05 cavalier but any thing between year 95-99 must be molded.
lip on a 95-99 z24 bumper keep in mind this must be molded yet.
Thanks,
Paul
keep in mind this Must be molded to the bumper yet every 95-99 bumper must be molded.
I was thinking $100 for just the lip in fiber glass. $200 in carbon fiber. and $250 molded in fiberglass $300 molded and in carbon.
How does that sound?
Thanks You,
Paul Tjepkes
I @!#$ love it. If I was the fiberglass type I'd take 2!!
dude i would def. take a lip for $100
how u planning on molding f/g to plastic?
first i will drill many holes in the bottom of the bumper for the panel bond to grip to once the bond pushed threw the holes it makes a lil clump of bond larger than the hole holding it on.
After that stage i would then lay 2 layers on glass on the back side of the bumper helping hold the lip and bumper together. Then i would finish the front side of the lip with a lil body filler blending the bumper and lip together. i would make a definite line between the lip and the bumper like on the ls sport bumper itself . unless you want it to blended in.
Like you see in this picture how the lip has that little edge on it around the whole lip/
Thank You,
Paul Tjepkes
honestly think ud have better luck and better results just making a full fiberglass bumper.. make a prototype with a rough idea what u want, make a mold, and just make a full f/g front bumper replacement..
Ive molded many things to plastic with fiber glass and have never had any problems.
The problem with making the whole bumper would be all the sanding for a one person job and making molds every week.
Plus it just wouldn't be worth it if i was making the whole thing and selling them for a decent price i would make next to nothing with all the time it would take but well See about the whole bumper and how that goes.
Iam thinking about starting an online business and from there who knows.
Starting my first sale lip today.
Thanks,
Paul Tjepkes
nice man cant wait till a yr down the road people will be rockin paul's lips on their cavs
Haha gmanz24 I remember way back when you were helping me get my cams in and i F'ed it all up. LoL now at least will have a nice built motor.
Lips from the 03+ I' m getting on it right now.
lips for the 00-02 are also in the making.
Lips for the 95-99 z I almost have figured out with out molding.
Also after my first ls type lip I will be coming out with a modified style for those who don't like the LS style.
Also looking into an online business like said before I would like to turn this into a full time business with Lips, Gauge bezels, Maybe a few hoods spoilers, Mabey a few other thing ppl can think of that they would like.
get one done in carbon fiber and id be all over it!
For sure Iam doing carbon once I get things going.
