I am not even sure the name of this part, but on a coupe, it is the piece of plastic between the rear side window and the roof,
How in the world do i get this off??
the piece that seperates the rear QP window and the rear window? as in the C-Pillar?
if so, good luck getting it off without breaking it. its held in(or so im told) by TONS of urethane sealant and some wierd T-tab type locking system, and the 3 pros ive met refused to try and take it out since they break 4 out of 5 of them.
why exactly do you need them to come off?
my car is getting sprayed and it is hard to get to the weather seal to remove it or even tape it.
theres like 7 inches of weather seal that is just hard as @!#$ to get to.
it should slide right out from inbetween them. take a screw driver or something small, and push it out. mine came right out
so there is no easy way to get the c pillar off because ive been thinking of taking mine off for somehting
Take out the inside panel thats around the window inside the car. The molding piece that your talking about is actually hooked to the window so it's easier to take the window right out of the car using an olfa knife cut the urethane but be careful not to cut the rubber trim around the quarter glass. the top you'll need a long olfa knife because there is 2 strips of urethane one seals the window the other is under the plastic piece you want off. Cut them and it'll come out pain in the a$$ but thats how we take'em out at my work.
that sounds way harder than i can imagine.
does sound hard but i want fire quater windows on my car ughhhh moer hard @!#$ after another
