That's really weird. That picture there is of the Old Wings West Evo hood. It's no longer produced. So Andy's either has started to produce it again (Highly doubt, but would KICK ASS) or they have the wrong pic posted? You should call them to double check that the image is correct. If you can get that style hood GO FOR IT, its one of the most saught after hoods on JBO.
Personally, I like the side vents. Just out of curiousity with these hoods what happens if it rains? It looks like from that picture the rain would fall right into the engine/header. That can't be good at high temps?
shouldnt matter really, if you think about it, your block and underside of the engine is constantly being exposed to water when driving while its rainint. It wouldnt be good for an air filter to be sitting there though. It also would get the engine dirty pretty quick.
I thought this hood was gone for good... I'll see if I can email or call Andy's tommorow about that hood if they reproduced it, I will be one happy mofo
Well I just recieved an email from andy's autosport this is what they said......
Yes, it's true, that specific hood from CF1 is no longer available because they recently went out of business -we'll be taking it off our site.
This one is available:
We can offer it for the same price of $528.00 seen on that other hood. It's fits the 95-02 Cavalier - hoods are all the same from those years.
Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
........
We need for some to reproduce that hood its the one I want

there are pockets under the hood that move the water off to the side so it doesnt go right on the engine
