Hi all, quick question for anyone with HID's. Ive installed the hi/low set, and everything is running fine (with the exception of my DRL's which seem to not want to work - but who needs em anyway). I was wondering about the placement of the ballast, which is currently mounted to the inside of my fender wells where the bumper fascia bolts up. Now, ordinarilly i wouldnt worry so much, but since i havent got any rain guards, do you think that excess water on the ballasts may cause them to malfuntion after extended exposer to rain/snow/salt, etc...? ive currently got them wrapped up in some zip-loc baggies to assist in keeping them as dry as possible, tho some moisture is still getting in because i can see small *sweat* spots on some parts of the inside. i think im gonna go grab a set of guards sometime this summer just to be sure, but in the meantime what do you guys think? should it be ok? put it on the bumper reinforcement, you dont want your ballasts gettin wet...
