Prostock wing owners question

Dudes, how does the lens for the brake light come off? Those black thing under it are not screws and I don't want to brake it. Just want to Night Shade it to match the tails. Thanks.

there should be 3 black screws holding the light in.

The ones I see underneath turn but do not unscrew. They are soft plastic and I don't want to just yank on them. I'll just pull the spoiler mask it and do it that way.

hmm, did u buy the spoiler used? im on my 2nd prostock, and was actually assembling my new one last night. from RKSport its "supposed" to come with 3 black metal screws.

maybe try and pry them softly and see if you get any movement out of them.

otherwise, ya, masking is prolly the only other option

Hmmm...I'll check again. Maybe they're just caps? But yeah I bought the spoiler with the type J kit used but all was mint.

^^^Have you seen the prostock wing? I don't think it functions for anything other than looks. His car may be fast it might not, don't judge too soon.

PFFFT! Here I was thinking you were some 16 year old kid with a smart mouth. Turns out you're in your 30's and still think bragging bout how fast your 5.0 litre is. My brother has a 90 Mustang too and it's "DONE" too. We're both giving our cars to our kids when they start driving, cause it's a "HOBBY" and some mature people do this for the fun and the aesthetics of modding a car into a vision you have in your head. Some people get off trying to be the fastest on the road to compensate for what they can't get in life.

Have fun needle dick!

I have to agree with you (uflip06) I may be 16 but I don't care what suits other people. if you like a wing That's fine with me. I'm modding for the aesthetic value only.
I'm not touching my engine for quite some time. Almost getting your license suspended for a year because you were stupid enough to do almost twice the speed limit really makes you stop and think. My car is going to be complete Rice and I really don't care. I'd rather have a little 4 Cylinder then kill myself with something big.

Sorry if I was a bit out of line with with post but I felt I needed to say it. Sorry

look here flip. When did I talk about my Mustang? Look at the date. I own a sunfire and fast n furious cars are silly thats my opinion. FWD cars are not performance cars PERIOD. I'm not hating on jbody's only. I feel the same for imports with gay coffee can exhaust.

if thats how you feel then let me ask why the f*** you are on this site? to give your negative bullsh*t? this site is for JBODY owners that look to make their cars nice and fast....why are you here if you dont want to "rice" your car as you say..whats your purpose? also if you dont think 2.2's can go fast you should climb out from under your rock and open your eyes...besides as a mustang fan myself, what good other than a straight line is your car? i bet it sucks in corners....do some of us a favor and take the bashing to your local mustang site...

I'm on this site because I have a j-body. I drive it everday nad its a kick ass car as far as gas mileage and reliability. I know not to mess with it because and car on the road can out accelerate it. there is a reason there is no sunfire/cal ss with a super charger on it or anything.

And NO. It does not handle as good as the mustang and I have 205-55-16 turanza ls-v tires on it so they are not cheap. I'm just saying leave the rice to the imports don't do it on american cars.

^^^ You are f%^&* priceless. Please stay on this site just because your posts are pure entertainment. I haven't read posts as clueless as yours in quite some time. Don't do anything crazy like going out and getting an education, cause that would ruin all the hard work you've done up to now. I gotta show my brother with the Mustang these posts as I'm sure he'll be happy there's another Mustang lover like him out there! All he had to do was find you on f%^&ing J-body site ....

^^^ thats hilarious

but on to "kool rock steady" dude my girl has a mustang, half of my friends have mustangs and I have driven them. Mustangs do not corner as good as Jbody's. all your car is good for is revving the engine loud and going in a straight line..dont try to bullsh*t anyone on here. you brought this on yourself when you arrogantly bashed uflip06 above. that brought attention to your profile which says your mustang that actually goes fast...whoop de do. my buddy's mustang will eat yours for lunch, guaranteed...but anyway sorry to jack your thread uflip06....hope it goes well with the pro stock wing.

well o1 cav. I didn't start talking about my car on here at all on this thread but well um put your $$ where your mouth is. I'll run your buddies mustang. Let me guess he has Altezza tail lights and some silly body kit? I mean if he's friends with someone like you then I'm sure he fits right in with your mentality..

Now on the uflip. You car looks like a damn import I hope your happy. Are those pep boys gauges I see on the a-pillar? Um yes my car does not handle good at all. I think I know a little more about cars then you know or ever will know. I certainly would not put a wanna be acura/honda or whatever body kit on my sunfire nor would I think it's fast.. BTW go to N.A.D.A. and see what your entry level econobox car is worth? Is that a pink steering wheel? Did your mom pick that up for you or did you get it off ebay?

there was one guy on here I think named turbocav for a few years back that had a fast car but I think it looked stock which was very cool. You with your silly ebay body kit on the cavalier = small penis syndrome

It's so hard not to laugh at your hypocrisy, idiocy, and general dickness. With every post of yours I just have to laugh harder. You should really try stand-up.

LMAO at a 36 yr old dude, with no life, no reason in arguing with you. did you see how many people responded to your incompetent post? no one wants your negativity, put your seatbelt back on while you are still on the short bus. dont talk about value of a car because i can get old a$$ fox bodies a dime a dozen. and you look so much like a little kid on here arguing and trying to joke on people's ideas and preferences, but i guess with no life you can do that. and please make up your mind about the mustang handling good or bad, because you contradicted yourself. but i'd expect something like that from someone who is mentally challenged.

this should be the end of this argument because this isnt your thread and no one wants to hear you again....

hey 01 cav. where are you located? hopefully Chicago....Let's line the mustangs up?

But since the rest of you kids want to bring my mustang into this conversation I will say it looks better then any j-body ever would or could. Do we need to mention performance? Yes I am still saying my j body handles like crap(mustang still handles better then my jbody). at 13k car is not meant to handle so I don't get bent like you do when someone says their econobox does not handle. IT"S NOT SUPPOSED TO A$$ PIRATE!!! It's meant to get good gas mileage and that it.
