Just keep trying... you may need a grinder to makes things better.
I know how you feel. they look good but a pain in the but. I forgot what magazine I was reading. the first thing was to take off the fenders and then put strips of tape around the door and put a little square piece of wood or something to fit between the door gaps so when you take off the stock door hinges the door will stay in place. Then you put on the lambo kit and so on. I hope this is kinda of helpful. J bodies roll out
I dropped a TON on a kit..and had the same problem....nothing I could do. I had to give in and give up....and after all the troubles I went through, I'll never try lambos again...

mine did not want to seal on the top up the pillar.
I said screw it and took them off. All my wires were being pulled tight also!
Well, I did the same. After about a week of messing around, I said F@#& it!! I was having the same problem teknik with the sealing prob. And CodeZero, the hinges I got looked just like the second set you got. They looked sweet on the car but I don't want 'em if they won't seal. If I try lambos again I'll go with VDI but I seriously think I'll spend the money on other parts.
Jubal...the second set...Those are identical to the VDI ones...I think they might actually BE VDI...but Xtreme Doors won't admit to it.

SO WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO WITH YOUR KIT? I WILL MAKE THEM WORK.
I have the VDI kit which looks almost like that. I see a few differences. I had to work with them for a few days to get them perfect. Passenger went on perfect, but the drivers side took forever to adjust to what I wanted. Just give it time if you really want them. I almost gave up a few times.
