im looking at getting something to make some fender liners... i have a BC2 kit, and of coarse the stock ones wont fit, ive just been too lazy to make new ones...other than fiberglassing what other options are there, if i did have to resort to fiberglassing how would i make a mold that would work?????

im trying to get it lined from the bottom of my front bumper, as of right now you can see my tires through the holes in my BC2 kit, and its looking a little tacky, not to mention when i turn my wheels you can see through to the road in front of the car. i just dont like how it looks and need to find a way to make it look less "hollow" if anyone knows what i mean.

The stock ones (fender liners) dont come down NEARLY as far since the aftermarket kit sits closer to the ground...

well, this wont be an easy project at all, but i guess it doesnt need to be perffectly smooth glass either since it will be in the wells.

if it were me, my steps would most likely be along these lines:

tin foil and tape off the entire well area. for areas that have no backing like what you are trying to caver, use some cardboard to make the shape, and tape it into place. then tinfoil over that also. at this point you should have a tin foil shape that looks like the glass piece will. then lay down a layer of resin, and add mat/cloth over. repaet until you reach your desired thickness. also make sure not to oversize it to where you cant pull it out. that would suck, lol. once you get a few layers of glass on it, i would let it sit over night if possible so it doesnt warp or shrink and not fit. pull it out, trim it down, sand to your desired smoothness, and paint.

thats how i would go about it.....in a nut shell.

if you have any questions about that or i wasnt specific/detailed enough, let me know and ill try and help the best i can
