I am getting a free bomex rear and am wondering if I should take it or leave it?I've seen alot of posts of people saying how much they dislike it,it would be going on my 98 cav z24 with the Drift front already on.Should I keep the stock Z rear or not? Thanks

id get it, sell it then buy a new rear
take it and sell it if you dont like it when you get it
it's what i would do.

but if you kept it it would have amazing functionality as either a bench or a table

I would say get it, and do what YOU want to with it, not what everyone here tells you to do with it.. if you like it, put it on.. if you don't like it, sell it and get a new one.

3COT3C's cav is basically what mine was except in mine you just had to click the pic to expand it .... but that's basically how mine looked except it had door skins ....
just be careful who ya sell it to if ya sell it if they find out u got it for free thier no gonna be happy
It's a gross bumper, but that's MY opinion. If YOU like the way it looks put it on, if YOU don't, then sell it.

Well I am getting it free from a guy from JBOM and he said that the bumper was a little wide.He said he talked to some of the fiberglass gurus' here on the org. and they said it would need to be worked on by someone who knows how to "glass".I'll hang on to it,maybe try to test fit it and if I don't like it I 'll give it away like he is to me.

if i remember right, isnt the bomex rear designed to be more like a cover and cover the stock rear?
i might have heard that somewhere i dunno
the current bomex 03+ I like and had to take off my rear bumper but on my old cavy the 95-99 style bumper was a bit wider and YES I did wrap it over the stock bumper all aI did was unbolt the rear bumper and slide it over and rebolt it all up .... just sold that car like 2 months ago and the guy who bought it just got rear ended and ... good thing that stock bumper was under there
BIGGS : as far as glassing anything goes ... its easy just takes practice the first couple of times but ... I didn't know what I was really doing when I started moddin or anything and now I am making a set of fenders
I would put the bomex on and hook me up with the stock bumper
Thanks CJ that info helps out and if I sell the stocker I'll let you know irssunsittilow
