flip-flop trunk

Thinking about possibly doing the flip-flop trunk conversion to my '95 Z24...wondering if anyone has an opinion if it is a good idea, overdone, looks cheap, etc.

Just looking for opinions good and bad...all welcome

this is a mod i feel indifferent about. honestly, if you bootch it, your trunk wont seal and you'll have a swimming pool in your spare tire well.

Well yeah that is true, but #1 i don't plan on botching it, but who really does tho...and #2 my trunk already don't seal right (needs adjusting) so i know what that pool is like

How do you do this on a coupe and a sedan? The arms go into the trunk lid? I've always wanted to know how to do it!!

Re: flip-flop trunk

i think the whole trunk lid set up is different. as for my lambos it seals up great it took a day and a half to get it right but its a perfect fit

when i did mine i didnt just loosen the bolts i bought longer bolts and just little 2 inch pieces of pvc to extend the trunk down 2 inches i would think if you just loosen the bolts it would rattle and make all sorts of noise

There are posts all over this board and do a google search for it. That is how i learned. It works on a ton of car the same way with the same type hinge.
