anyone with a setup for gas filler under the trunk lid for a 98?

I saw one post for the set up for a 2004 gas filler pipe in the trunk and it had one filler pipe to deal with. Is there anyone out there that drilled straight down instead of going into the fender well with the 2 hoses?
If you have any pics that would be helpful. It seems the 98 is a little different from the 2004 set up or maybe it isn't but I am not sure.
I recently saw in search where the 2 hoses were routed in the wheel well and I don't want to do it that way if I can help it...
Thanks

they are the same 95-04 the trunk area didnt change. just follow one of the other how-to's or come up with your own way but i dont see how your gonna make it not go into the trunk threw the wheel well

Anyone else?
I guess I could always go to a round aluminum gas door if this isn't going to work out.
What brand would work to replace the square filler door which I don't like.
Just looking for other options.

you could always make the tubing go down i guess.. but it gets in the way what many people do in their trunk, which would be a reason to keep it as close as possible to the outside of the car. That is my theory anyways.. I made mine go through the wheel well because I wanted to make sure I left plenty of room to work on the trunk when the time came. You can always try making it go down if you want

Thanks

you can just drill thru the bottom of the trunk and outlet them there? same premise as stock, just a different route. only issue may be needing to make the hoses longer. but thats not too tough
