Well..... I picked up hinges and am going to tackle this project within the next week or so. I will try to take lots of pics and make lots of notes and try to put together something for everyone.
Any interest in a step by step suicide hood guide??

those hinges are getting very tough to find in my area!
got em at a junk yard for $7.86. lol
yeah it was hard to find a good set. i might try to find some more and then sell them on ebay.

Ok....after 2 days u get ass hurt and dont wanna post the write up? This is probably the reason why u get flammed dude. While there are the few people who flame outright because they have nothing better to do with their lives there are 100 more of use who dont post but enjoy that people post how-to's that help us out ALOT!
So really do what you want, but getting all ass hurt just shows them douche bags that their gay flames have burnt ur ass!
okay it is really easy guys you need a welder some nuts to weld to the hood how you come up with it is yoru way and your all done basicly. thats all i did. i let my big secret out on how i did my hood. so if you dont have a drill and welder your basicly screwed because there is no way to have a bolt up mod on this one
just curious....why make a post asking if people want a how-to and when they do, u come and say u dont wanna post it?
but regardless....if people cant figure out how to do this for themselves, its prolly a mod they shouldnt attempt.

very true. when people ask me how to do it. i basicly tell them if you cant figure it out then you shouldnt be trying it.
