ok folks heres the deal. i got a real great deal on a set of APC M3 mirrors. my car has factory power mirrors, the M3 arent power. i took off the interior trim panel to access the bolts and wiring, and to my dismay...no wiring harness connector the disconnect the mirrors. sooo is there a connector i can just unhook somewhere or do i have to cut the wires? ive got the new mirrors all painted up and ready, and they are going on one way or another but id rather not cut anything i dont have to...
thanks in advance for any help

hmmm, i was figuring that was the case. now the debate..remove the door panel, or just cut, cap, and resplice when i get rid of the car...
and those morrors in your pics are interesting...are those the SLR style?, they are different from mine. mine has only 1 light, and its on the mirror body not the posts.

remove properly, it doesnt take that long. i can dig up a howto if need be
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
yeah that would help, ive never removed a door panel before, rather do it right than jack something up.

they call them the diablo mirrors believe they are the latest style both light up and are neat at night. as far as the panel first remove the mirror cove with a phillips and then look in ur handle there are two p- heads 4 along the bottom and one up the rear after removing them start at the front nearest the hinges and pull out they are clipped in they just push in and pull out i believe there are something like 8-9 of them just a tug and they will come out after that is done it is still on up top just push up and make sure the handle doesnt catch the panel the handle is riveted on sooo. easier if window is down after u move the panel off the panel has some harness attched to it like power locks, believe speakers too, the just clip to gether, then u can set it side and trace the plug out to the mirrors. when putting back u gotta line up the edge of the panel top with the door so the panel overhangs the top of the door(bottom of glass) then the clips will line up and just replace the screws and ur done dont forget the locks if ur equipted with them. for manuel windows they have a c-clip holding the handle on so u need a removal tool like 4bucks at the parts store saves a big headach trying to find it the panel is tight with manuals. any ? hit me up. later.
